Creating is fun baby themed blog hop

Here are two baby projects i created using gorgeous lace from Martha's zibbet shop at http://www.zibbet.com/createdbymartha

The first one is of my beautiful niece maggie when she was a baby using Simple stories FABULOUS collection which i love because it is so bright and cheery and i had a chance to use my beautiful orange lace from marthas shop which i love.  It is a 12x12 canvas layout that i painted hot pink and then had some fun around the edges sponging on some orange yellow and brown.  I love doing layouts on canvas that way i can put them up in my scrappy space without having to get them framed. The second 12x12 layout is of my niece as well using Prima songbird and MME be happy collection.  I used small lace trim around the page and to frame the picture from marthas shop.

A Canvas Layout- My beautiful Family

I am so in love with doing canvas's right now and i think it is because i can hang them up.  It has been a while since i have done layouts and it feels kinda good to get back into it.  I love paper and i could use a whole line on a layout, its crazy.  This canvas i painted with brown acrylic paint.  The paper i used is DCWV garden teaparty.  I just love this paper, it has my three fave colors in it which is peach brown and creams. Gorgeous paper.. The flowers i used on this are from I am roses as well as Wild orchid crafts.  The white spray i used is from Karlas001 etsy store and the gorgeous laces are from Created by martha's zibbet shop at www.zibbet.com/createdbymartha. I used chippie pieces from Prima Songbird line which matched this paper so well and a chipboard key from a TH die cut.  I bought the heart shaped doiley at micheals and the flat pearls are from SACRAFTERS zibbet store. This is going to be a surprise for a friend and i know it will be beautiful with her family pictures on it...
